Can I fix a typo in the existing text?
Yes. Click a selectable block and apply your correction: its text is replaced in the exported PDF. If the original font lacks new characters, choose Noto Sans. For a scan, recognize the page first and review the line. Annotation tools remain visual additions; they are not a way to redact confidential information.
Is the text I add selectable in the produced file?
Yes. Added text is real PDF text, not an image: it can be copied and searched in a reader.
Is my file uploaded to your servers?
No, and you can check it. Everything runs in your browser. Open your browser network panel while you work: no request carries your document. We cannot read it, keep it, or pass it on.
What exactly does it cost?

What happens if I close the tab, or pay halfway through?
Your document and your work are kept in your browser local storage, on your device. Come back to the page and everything is still there, including after a round trip to the payment page. The button labeled "Erase my document" removes them whenever you decide.
Are there any limits?
Text wraps within the available space without moving later paragraphs or creating pages. A rewritten paragraph uses a single font. Some complex text cannot be selected. Recognition can make mistakes. Corrected scan lines use a replacement font and may look different. Blurry, tilted scans or complex backgrounds are not guaranteed. No compression: the produced file can be larger than the original.
